In partnership with D'One Dance studio & D'Artiz Studio, LET'S JIGGY streetdance competition showcases dance crews from all around Perak state to see who’s the best of the best. With RM2000 winning prize at stake, those crews are bringing their best for what is definitely going to be AN EVENT NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!!!!!!!

Featuring guest performances by ELECOLDXHOT(Ecx), arguably the best dance crew... in Malaysia, as well as BUSCO, one of the best upcoming local indie rock bands, who opened for Switchfoot in Kuala Lumpur. Also, for the very first time in Malaysia, we have Brenden Brown, our special guest speaker all the way from Sydney, Australia who is a funny, inspiring & influential youth communicator.

In last year Learning Of The Night 2010 we was teched a lot of dance style. This year we are doing a new one.
In this night, we will let you know what is dance, and will teach you few kind of dance, and teach you how to FREESTYLE.
This is a open class, we are welcome all of our D'one student/ ex student, and outsider :)

360 DANCE EXPO 2011

360 Dance Expo 2011 is the first advanced dance exposition organized by D'ONE DANCE STUDIO and MCA in Malaysia. The exposition on 28^th may 2011 will gather most of the skillful dancers and people who has the same interest around Malaysia. The most famous dancing crews and those who have champion titles in their dancing career will be invited to be the guest performers. Such great performances could lead to a great anticipation of audience.

Besides participants from Ipoh, there are dancers from foreign regions, such as Singapore, Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, etc. Therefore, publicity and events will be organized at Kampar, Ipoh Parade, Kinta City and other locations with a crowd to promote this exposition.

The design of the stage will be 360 degrees, opened to all audiences. This means that the dancers should create their own dancing moves that can be shown in every angle to ensure all the audiences have their view taken care of. There will be a raving area on the stage for audience to have a better view on the performances of dancers.

This stage design could be a breakthrough for dancers as they must have their dancing and choreographing technique improved to take care of the vision from every angle.

The design and decoration of the venue will be majority of a circle to suit the theme of 360 degrees.

Well, on 1-01-11, floor digital succeeded in going into the finals and guess what? They did it! DA CHAMPION!!

We have some changes for now about the class package

1: RM 60 per month , once a week , 1hour per class (only for classes marked*)

2: RM80 per month for break dance class...once a week , 2 hour per class..

separated to 2 (foundation and powermove) taught by bboy soulless and bboy soul end

3:RM 100 unlimited, same as the old package (only for ipoh gardent east HQ)

-The unlimited RM100 package is not applicable for the RM60 package. The same goes the other way. They are both separate packages.

-The unlimited class is only available at Ipoh Garden East HQ studio. The Pasir Puteh branch only provides RM 60 package and break dance RM 80 package.

wacking =

Its involves highly dynamic movements of the arms, which resemble the wrist roll in locking but more exaggerated and extended. This style of dance also incorporates sharp angular poses, which is called Vogueing, a style commonly done together with Wacking. Wacking is more frequently done by girls now and it can be danced to a wide genre of music from house to Hip Hop.

This form of dance was inspired by the sound of the African Caribbean style of music developed on the island of Jamaica. It is identified for its lament-like style of chanting with an emphasis on the syncopated beat. This dance focuses on percussive hip movements accompanied by accurate isolations in the body

package A: RM80
10 classes per month
Come for any 10 classes within 1 month on your preference, without having to fix any element or class, BUT BASED ON THE SCHEDULE GIVEN.

UNLIMITED CLASS !! Yeah , all week long. You can come to any class you would like to join, any day you want.

package C: RM 15 (trial class)
Each student is only eligible to 2 trials. This is suitable for those who doesn't know which element to take up. You will have a trial with one of our instructors and he will tell you what kind of element style you are most suitable with.

We have change our schedule in a few ways this time.

1: Based on students and parents feedback, they are mostly free during the night. Therefore, most of our classes will only start during night time.

2: There will be another new element style for this month, (GIRLS HIP HOP). Give yourself a try ^^

3: Mondays and Sundays will be our off day. We apologize about the inconvenience because we will be traveling frequently during weekends for the upcoming months.

4: VIP classes are not open for public.

However, I would like to emphasize that our UNLIMITED class students are still increasing to 60++ this month. ^^

Learning of the night

Have a night gathering with D'one studio's students and members, not forgetting the outsiders .

Recently, many people misunderstand what street dance is.

Therefore, we will try to let everyone from Ipoh to get more knowledge about street dance.

D'one will also be giving trial classes as there will be some new element dance classes. ^^

Besides that, we will be having a small Cypher session after the short course .

This means that students and even outsiders who don't know anything about dancing will have the chance to show themselves!

Yes! Showmanship ~ Bravery~ Confidence~

Those are the first things you need to have while you dance!~

Just show yourself and dance with the rhythm! Dance with us!

After, we will have a small dinner together and talk ..~

What?!! With just RM5, I get to learn so much of elements and yet still get to EAT?!!

Oh yeah, you got that right! The importance of this night is to let u know that we are not money minded. We would just like to get everyone who likes dancing or street dance to get the chance to share together and get to know one another!

RM5 is just to cover our expenses on food.~

To all my dear friends and students

D'ONE dance studio will be having a new system soon..
There will be

3 packages of dance classes
PACKAGE A: RM80 ( 10 classes a month)
- you get to choose any dance element style either in a week or in a month

PACKAGE B : RM100 (unlimited classes for a month)
- we have more than 20 classes in a week for you to choose. This means that you can attend to at least 80 classes a month!!

PACKAGE C : RM15 ( Trial classes for 1 time per hour)
- This package is for those who don't know about the new element styles or have never tried it out before. You will have trial classes with us to know which you would take up but you can only take up to 2 trial classes.

The element styles that our studio will be providing are as below:
1: HIP HOP BEGINNER
2: LA & LYRICAL HIP HOP
3: NEW SCHOOL
4: POPPING
5: LOCKING
6: STREET JAZZ
7:BREAK DANCE FOUNDATION & POWERMOVE

4 more new element styles are added
8: MTV class ( for those who are interested in their idol's MV's step example Super junior, wonder girls,jolin chai, jay chow, taeyang etc)

11: FREESTYLE ( valid for senior citizens , which are over the age of 30 above who just needs some exercise)

As usual, Elecoldxhot has always done a workshop at D'one dance studio.
This is the 3rd time they are here but because of the lack of time of promoting, the students that attended were not much.
However, we learnt alot of routines and styles like popping and LA hip hop
We also leant body control.. turning.. flow..etc..

There was a Digi Roadshow at Jusco Kinta City on the 6th & 7th march..
There was a freeze mob(flash mob) on the 7th for 3min.

HAPPY NEW YEAR N VALENTINE DAY~
Oh well~ On the 3rd day of Chinese New Year, we visited some of the d'one member's family.

We visited yumiko's house first but we forgot to take any pictures .so paiseh la~

After that, we went for lunch, then Vincent's house... We found out that his 2 brothers are quite pro in drawing!~
